Bars and Nightlife in Bath
Cadillacs in Walcot Street is very popular night spot. Also Moles Nightclub
hosts the best bands in Britain during the year.
Bath has its fair share of top class bars. Lots of real ales on sale, and in
pubs like the cosy Coeur de Lyon which is recognised as the smallest pub in
Bath, is worth a visit, along with its sister bar, the Old Green Tree, which
is wooden panelled and close to the post office. Both have great ales on draught.
The Porter Cellar bar on George Street has great live music, as well as the
Hat and Feather pub in Walcot.
To check out the bars outside Bath, take yourself out to the suburb of Oldfield
Park, head up to the shopping area around Moorland Road where you will find
the Bear Pub, which has a massive Polar bear on the roof to invite you in. Also
in the suburbs around Weston and Newbridge, there is the award winning Dolphin
Inn. Around Corsham which is only 6 miles outside Bath, one can visit the Northey
Arms on the outskirts, and the Hare and Hounds in the centre. Try the Mallards
pub in Midsomer Norton.
